Define your purpose


Intention: Determine the ​purpose of your meditation ​circle. Is it for relaxation, ​spiritual growth, stress ​relief, or strengthening ​family bonds?


Type of Meditation: Decide ​on the type of meditation ​you wish to practice (e.g., ​mindfulness, guided, ​silent, mantra).

  • Quiet Environment: ​Select a quiet and ​comfortable place ​where you can sit or ​walk undisturbed.
  • Ensure there's enough ​space for everyone to ​sit or walk in a circle. ​You can use cushions, ​mats, or chairs.
  • Other circles can be for ​walking meditation and ​Tai Chi where sand is ​used as with my circle.



2. Choose a Location

3. Set the Date and ​Time


4. Invite participants


  • Consistency: Choose a ​regular schedule, such ​as weekly or monthly, to ​help yourself and others ​plan and commit.
  • Duration: Decide on the ​length of the session ​(e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour).

5. Prepare the space

  • Clean and Organize: ​Ensure the space is clean ​and welcoming.
  • Ambiance: Use candles, ​incense, or essential oils to ​create a calming ​atmosphere.
  • Centerpiece: You might ​want to place a ​centerpiece in the middle ​of the circle, such as a ​small altar, a bowl of water, ​flowers, or a crystal.

8. Follow Up
